For those of you who have bought Acronis True Image backup to back your whole computer up every day, there are a multitude of reasons why it may fail. Reasons include:
- Automatic deletion of old backups have failed and your backup disk has run out of space
- Backup corruption
- Portable HDD media failure
By opening Acronis and having a look at the task calendar, you can easily see which days have succeeded and which have failed. Another way of checking is to periodically see if you can restore your backup (but don’t actually do it). Don’t just assume it’s working!
